The long-ish post I'd hoped to post on my blog's anniversary (two days ago) is still in the draft-y stage. BUT, I have finally gotten around to fixing my MMmusic jukebox page. I created it a few years back to collect all the audio files I've posted on the blog. Unfortunately, the cool little web-based program I used to create the jukebox suddenly stopped working, because the company that made it was bought by AOL. I've never liked AOL.
I'm not sure anyone other than me has ever noticed the page had stopped working, but I missed it. So now, in lieu of fresh new material, you can go back and sample a wide variety of sounds: me playing the piano quietly in my office, songs without singers, Maurizio Pollini playing even faster than he can, my Virtual Singers serenading as only they can, goofy little audio mashups that preceded my turn to YouTube as primary multimedia deliverer. Etc. AND, with the new homemade jukebox setup, you can set any number of these tracks playing at once to make your own mashup mashup. It's a trip down MMmemory lane - and it's a little trippy.
Now I need to update the "Guide to MMmusing" link above...

Happy MMmusing Day!
This blog is four years old, as of today. I had a blog post in the works to mark the occasion, but it's not done yet. So, you get this little historical marker instead. Here's how it all started on Feb. 24, 2007. More to come tomorrow, I hope...
